Dare Akinsanya is a songwriter, singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer with a heart for God and people. He has a deep passion for the things of God and has devoted a significant part of his childhood and adult life serving in diverse capacities in God’s Kingdom and has been instrumental in sound and media transformation for many churches in Nigeria, United Kingdom and United States. Dare is happily married to his God-given soul mate, Modupeola and together have two daughters and a son.
Tribute project was written in 2003 shortly after his mom transitioned to be with the Lord, as a memorial. The project also focused on highlighting the need for Christians to work together in harmony rather than in competition with one another. Unity builds but competition divides. The album was pre-recorded in 2003, re-produced in 2005 through 2009 but faced what seemed like an unsurmountable problem that resulted in a postponement in 2009. While seeking God’s face in 2019 for the next phase, The Holy Spirit nudged him to re-visit the project and God lined up help in diverse places and the album was reproduced within 4 months between February and June of 2020.
