From a young age, NurlRich has been deeply influenced by a wide range of music genres including Gospel, Reggae, Soul, and Country, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Toots and The Maytals, and Charley Pride.
Upon relocating to Canada in 1989, new avenues opened up for NurlRich, allowing him to expand his musical horizons and engage in performances within local scenes. Subsequently, he became involved in a church ministry, where he served as a worship leader and an integral member of the band.
