Artist Spotlight: Bayo Babajide

Bayo Babajide is the founder, director and head instructor at Christtones. He has been a professional musician for more than 20 years. He is an award-winning instrumentalist and singer. He has served and is still serving as a Music Director to church choirs and orchestras. 

 

His mission is to spread the love of God by teaching others to create an atmosphere for his presence through music. He is a seasoned teacher and mentor and Christtones is his way of impacting his community.

 

Bayo Babajide has always been musically inclined. His bachelor’s in music barely touched his love for music and his passion for creating an environment for God’s presence through music .

Bayo Babajide is an ordained Pastor, spirit-filled and an exceptionally anointed man of God with many talents. 
He is the son of the Late Prophet D.O Babajide (C.A.C) one of the greatest men of God of African origin.
He is currently the Music Director of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Victory Temple Bowie. 
He successfully transformed the choir  Tribe of Judah to a household name in the region. As a group, their hardwork earned them accolades such as the “How Sweet the Sound” Award and an upgrade to international limelight as the first Black African choir to perform in the White House in over 200 years of independence.
He is a renowned music consultant to many churches and his passion is to create an environment for God’s presence wherever he sets foot be it revivals, concerts or church services.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; and he is happily married with children.
